What exactly is CMS (Content Management System)? A CMS (Content Management System) allows the site's owner/administrator to log in and alter the content. A web based database is set up to store some of the content for the web site. When the site is viewed, content is extracted in real time from this database. The administration section of the site allows for the easy updating of the information contained in the database.
