Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a text-based graphics language that describes images with vector shapes, text, and embedded raster graphics.

SVG files are compact and provide high-quality graphics on the Web, in print, and on resource-limited handheld devices. In addition, SVG supports scripting and animation, so is ideal for interactive, data-driven, personalized graphics.

SVG is an ideal technology to use for the production of logos and stationary.

2D Bitmaps with Image Processing

2D Bitmap images are normal images such as photographs taken by a digital camera or an image scanned using a document scanner. We are able to take images and reformat them in many different ways as well as applying various different effects.

Most bitmap work is down in conjunction with other methods of image creation/editing.

3D Modeling and Rendering

3D Modeling and rendering can create some spectacular effects. A virtual scene is modeled in 3D using a powerful modeling application. Lighting and texture effects are added before the application renders the scene in true 3D.

1. First a mock-up of the image is created - this can be by hand or using a graphics application.

2. Then the scene is modeled in 3D.

3. FInally, lighting and texture effects are added before the image is rendered in 3D.

Adobe/Macromedia Flash™

Flash™ graphics are animated graphics created specifically for the web with an application called Adobe/Macromedia Flash™. Using vector graphics and programming techniques, Flash™ can be used to create everything from simple animated banners to full web based internet applications.
